Celebrate Yarn Shop day 2015, afloat, with us at Rode Heath.
Emma Maye at Rode Heath last year
Let's knit magazine have organized a day to celebrate local independent yarn
shops, and this year we are joining in.
We have decided to be at Rode Heath near Alsager on the Trent and Mersey canal
and will be open 10-5 on Saturday the 2nd of May.
We have a bit of work to do to get to Rode Heath and we did quite a bit of thinking as to where we should be for this day. So we worked out that Rode Heath may be a good place..
Well there are no local yarn shops, as far as we know, so we are not trading on anyone else's patch.
There are good moorings at Rode Heath, with some nice picnic tables that would make a good place for a knit and natter if the weather is fit.
There is a good pub:-) more details to come
This is the day, but we will expand the day over the 3 days of the
bank holiday weekend.
There are good moorings opposite The Broughton Arms pub where there is
plenty of car parking.
For the weekend we are having a go at
